Chemistry has been my classroom for nearly 15 years, much of that spent teaching AP Chemistry in international schools. I specialise in helping students who start to feel lost once equilibrium, buffers and electrochemistry arrive. We focus on setting problems up carefully, keeping working neat and readable, and then drilling College Board–style questions so long calculations and multi-step reasoning feel routine by exam season.

Hey, I’m a chemical engineering student at Texas A&M University who still genuinely enjoys stoichiometry, thermochemistry and all the nerdy bits of AP Chemistry. I mainly work with students who want someone close to their age who remembers exactly what the course feels like. Together we decode multiple-choice traps, practise net ionic equations and tidy up energy diagrams until they make sense. Most lessons run in the evening, with extra slots before big tests or the AP exam.

After completing my degree in chemistry I moved to Doha and started tutoring AP Chemistry for students at several American schools. The units I enjoy teaching most are kinetics, equilibrium and acid–base chemistry, because that’s often where students make the jump from a 3 to a 4 or 5. In lessons we straighten out common calculation slips, review your class notes and practise writing tight, well-structured explanations in FRQs and classroom quizzes.
