I’m a biology teacher at an American-curriculum school, where I’ve taught AP Biology to mixed Grade 11–12 classes for the past 8 years. A lot of my students aim for medicine or biomedical science, so we spend time getting really solid on cell processes, genetics and experimental design. I also help students polish lab reports and practise writing clear, concise FRQ answers that actually match the mark schemes.

I studied Biological Sciences in Education City and now tutor AP Biology for students at schools such as ASD and DeBakey. My favourite units are evolution and ecology, especially when we can tie concepts to local desert and coastal ecosystems. Lessons usually mix short quizzes, labelled diagrams and past FRQs so you get used to writing under time pressure. I’m also happy to look over lab reports or research posters before you submit them.

I’m a biology and chemistry tutor, working mainly online with AP students and occasionally in person. My background includes a biology degree and several years running a school lab, so I’m very comfortable helping with practical write-ups, enzyme and genetics questions, and data-based multiple-choice passages. We normally start with whatever your teacher has just covered, then finish each session with a short review quiz to lock things in.
